The posal developer system is what makes our POS so flexible. It is in reality a programing language(Point Of Sale Advanced Language). Using POSAL, even non-programmers can modify the system to the exact needs of the user. Several years ago, a salesman wokring for one of our dealers contacted a municipality that was looking for a Cash System to link into their Accounting program. The salesman showed them our POS system and they laughed at him. "That's not a Municipal Cash System". He said, "Tell me what you want it to do". They gave him the specifications including accepting, reporting on and communicating to their accounting system numerous Voucher numbers and tag numbers, etc. The system had to Frank(Print on the back of) numerous documents with custom information. Two weeks later the salesman had made all the required changes. This system is still running 12 years later in the City of Calgary. We did a similar thing for the Department of Motor Vehicles in Hawaii. Normally SCS makes these changes, but end users, with the Devolper's system and appropriate training can also make significant changes to the system.
Simple additions like adding a new discount or tender is made by adding a record to a table and then linking it to a button on a POS keyboard or the Touch Screen.
In the final analysis, POSAL makes it possible to have it YOUR WAY.....
